Frequently Asked Question

What makes Zoomies different?

At Zoomies, we focus on creating a boutique daycare experience where dogs receive genuine attention, structured play, and enriching activities throughout the day. We thoughtfully match dogs based on energy levels and temperament to encourage safe, positive socialisation in a calm and supervised environment.

How does pickup and drop off work?

We offer a concierge-style pickup and drop off. When you arrive, just stay in your car and we’ll come to collect your dog from you. At the end of the day, we’ll bring your dog back out to your car so you don’t need to get out or wait in a lobby.

What time is drop off and pick up?

Drop off is between 7:00am and 9:00am. For half‑day bookings, pick up is between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. For full‑day bookings, pick up is between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

What does a typical day at Zoomies look like?

A day at Zoomies includes structured play, supervised socialisation, enrichment activities, rest breaks, sensory stimulation, outdoor time, and lots of affection and attention throughout the day.

Do you offer trial days?

We do not offer trial days, however there are no lock-in contracts or long-term commitments. We encourage new dogs to start with a casual visit so we can get to know their personality, energy level, and play style while helping them settle into the Zoomies environment at their own pace.

What vaccinations are required?

To ensure the health and safety of all dogs in our care, dogs attending Zoomies must be up to date with their vaccinations, including a current C5 vaccination (or equivalent veterinary-recommended protection). Dogs must also be regularly wormed, maintained on an appropriate flea prevention program, and be free from any contagious illness or condition that could impact other dogs. Proof of vaccination may be requested prior to your dog's first visit.

Do you cater for anxious or quiet dogs?

Yes. We have a dedicated quiet zone for low‑energy or anxious dogs so they can enjoy daycare without the pressure of busy play areas. We go at their pace and make sure they feel safe, calm and comfortable while they build confidence.

Do you have breed restrictions?

No. We do not have breed-specific restrictions at Zoomies Daycare. We believe every dog deserves to be assessed as an individual. When considering new dogs, we look at temperament, behaviour, play style and suitability for a group environment rather than making decisions based on breed alone. Our priority is creating safe, balanced and enjoyable play groups for all dogs in our care.
